Writing Angel
An angel writes in heaven under the illumination of an oil lamp. She is of the ancient Greco-Roman variety and chisels her thoughts on a stone slab. The angel shown on the Victorian cameo lifts her stylus poised to carve her next word.
My daughter Alix wanted to be a writer. Alix brought a blue typewriter to college so she could type her manuscripts like the old-fashioned authors she admired. Now in heaven Alix clacks on the typewriter while beside her the angel from classical times pounds on a tablet to tell their stories.
Do you have a loved one writing in heaven?

Alix and her blue type writer! 💙 Ooooh, how I adore envisioning this. No doubt you two are co-authors, a team, as you show up to the page as does she. Informing one another, illuminating that which needs to be brought to all.
Yes, Douglas and I are a team. Everything feels better with him by my side. 🌈

Dom wrote poetry…and performed it in Open Mic Spoken Word events. I read it now and feel really proud of him for being so courageous.
Alix clacking on her typewriter above us is such a lovely image, Julie! Hope she and Dom are working together on a joint project like we have ❤️❤️❤️
