This is an interesting history of the Grim Reaper, and I also find it curious that in this image, the reaper is holding the woman's hair. I wrote earlier about hair, and how I feel like a woman's hair is so strongly connected to phases that we go through as women so this really resonated with me.

While not necessarily the Grim Reaper, I do believe that there are energy forces that meet us when we transition. I like to think of this energy as comforting, welcoming, soft.

Thanks for sharing your belief in a “comforting, welcoming, soft” energy for transition! That is a beautiful way to think of my daughter as going into the afterlife.

I imagine your daughter feels your loving energy all around her, Julie. That's the picture I hold. ✨️

Question- was the artist a man who painted this image? That is another complete discussion, especially what is going on with women’s rights.

I believe a good energy helped to guide my daughter. ✨💜✨

I don’t know if the artist was a man or woman. I think a good energy guided my daughter too!
